Steve Thompson

Steve is an 18 year real estate veteran, licensed in both New Mexico and Texas. He was founder of his own residential real estate firm that specialized in upper-end homes in Dallas, Texas, with annual sales in excess of $500 million dollars. Steve sold the firm in the fall of 2000 and made Santa Fe his permanent home, where he had been buying, remodeling, and building important and architecturally significant homes in Santa Fe's historic eastside district for the past several years. Steve has a degree in accounting and economics which has been an asset to his clients in accessing the market and financing options. His extensive knowledge of remodeling and building has made him invaluable to his clients in assessing what to do to a certain property, how much to spend - all with an eye towards market returns. Steve is a patron member of the Historic Santa Fe Foundation. He is a Certified Residential Specialist (C.R.S.), as awarded by the National Association of Realtors, an accredited Historic House Specialist, a Certified Relocation Specialist, and a patron of Site Santa Fe and the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum.
